Our last few days with Stan the Man

Day 2 in Prague

Can't say that we did anything exciting on Friday.

Jerry & I went out with some friends for a b-day party.
We thought we would take Stan the Man out on the town!
It's gotten fairly cold in Prague, so we needed to make sure he was warm.
So, we borrowed a sweater from Mr Alaskan Moose (hence the AK on the front of the sweater).
Stanley got a little crazy!

First day in Prague!

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!!
I think Stanley actually got here in 4 DAYS (Thursday, Nov. 15)!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!
He arrived in pristine condition. Hardly a wrinkle in the envelope!!

In the next day or two we'll only be doing a little of this and a little of that .


And a LOT of this Ha!

Flat Stanley leaves Texas to begin his tour around the world!

This nice Post Office lady gently lays Stanley on the scale to determine how much his trip to Prague will cost. Stan weighed in at 2.9 oz. and for a mere $2.70 he is sent on his way to Tina's
house! This sweet lady was so kind to allow us to take her picture. :)



On November 9, 2007 Stan is placed in his fancy envelope ready to begin his journey from Texas to Prague. We placed a piece of cardboard in the envelope with Stan so that he doesn't get bent out of shape!! :)
