The flat man has landed!, (FLAT STAN-LEY IN DUH HAUS)

His plane was delayed and he was rerouted 3 different times, but he finally made it here. It wasn't easy either. See, according to Stanley, all international flights out of Japan were full. After his flight cancelled for maintenance, he was rerouted, and bumped, 50 ways to Sunday. He sat there deflated (not hard for a guy who's 1/120th of an inch wide to begin with), when a young man noticed his pained expression. They began a conversation and, whadda you know, he was with Mission Aviation Fellowship.
A missionary stationed in Japan who was now headed home on furlough.

Well, Stan thought that alone was a God thing, but when the guy mentioned being a Colts fan? Well,.....
Stan's brow raised.
A sweat bead glistened.
A tumbleweed rolled by (for dramatic effect) and then?

Then Stan worked up the courage and said, "You wouldn't happen to be a Colts fan because, say, you're headed to Indianapolis, Indiana, YOU. ESS. EH. would you?"
"Why yes, I am."

Be still my heart.

Stan was immediately prepared to plead, beg or fake a pass out if need be (again, for dramatic effect) just so Mission Guy would fly him home. But alas, it WAS a God thing and before he could say, "I'm a desperate hunk of cardboard," they were on their way.

He was oh so tired by the time he arrived here today, but insisted on sitting in on our kids' bedtime story. According to 6yo Reece, that would be "Huckle Finn."
And so he did.
And so it was.
And all is right in the world of flat people.
